How to permanently delete your account and personal information from Samgamam.
Samgamam respects your privacy and gives you control over your personal information. You can delete your Samgamam account and associated personal data from your account settings at any time.
Account & Data Deletion Methods
Choose the deletion method that fits your current account access state.
Method 1: Self-Service (Recommended)
If you can sign in to your Samgamam account, you can permanently delete your account and data immediately.
- Sign In: Log in to your Samgamam account via web or mobile.
- Open Settings: Go to Account Settings and select Security Settings.
- Locate Danger Zone: Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom of the page.
- Select Delete Account: Click the Delete account button and review the consequences.
- Confirm Deletion: Type DELETE into the confirmation field and submit to permanently erase your data.
Method 2: Support Request
If you cannot sign in or lost access to your account credentials or authentication provider.
- Access Support: Visit the Samgamam Help Center or contact our privacy team.
- Submit Request: Provide your registered email address and request account and data deletion.
- Identity Verification: Complete ownership verification so our team can safely process permanent deletion.
What Happens During Deletion
Detailed breakdown of data deletion, anonymization, and regulatory retention.
Your profile information, full name, email address, password hash, active sessions, push notification tokens, and device registrations are immediately and permanently removed.
Discussion posts, community messages, and check-in history are disassociated from your identity and anonymized so group and event threads remain coherent for other members.
Transactional payment history and immutable security audit logs are retained in restricted, encrypted storage strictly for statutory tax, accounting, dispute, and fraud prevention obligations.
If you are the organizer of upcoming events with registered attendees or active communities, you must transfer ownership or cancel the events before deleting your account to protect attendees.
All Facebook, Google, and Auth0 social login links are severed. If you sign in with Facebook in the future, a fresh new account will be created without restoring deleted data.
Account deletion is immediate and permanent. Once completed, your account cannot be recovered or restored.
